HERRON-STYLE STAG HUNTER
I was inspired by my good friend, George Herron, to make this medium sized drop point hunter. Function and form combine in this contemporary Eastern Seaboard design where whitetails are the object of thousands of experienced hunters. Featuring soon-to-disappear premium Sambar Elk stag from India, this renowned handle material is no longer being exported, and knives handled with this superb stag will become increasingly valuable in the near term. As a long-term hunter's companion, however, few knives such as this George Herron style favorably compare to this time honored type. |
