Although it appears to have a narrow (hidden) tang, the phenolic handle wraps deceptively around a nearly full tang for maximum strength. The brass guard and butt cap are hand-fitted over the end of the tang which is exposed at the rear. Especially made for Rendevous Mountain Man or Civil War re-enactment events, this Bowie is the ultimate accessory. Complete with a deerskin-wrapped Plains Indians style leather sheath and a hidden sharpening tool, this knife is guaranteed to compliment both natural hide regalia or uniform.
