FISHING KNIVES

Fishing knives like these are the result of hands-on testing on the east and west coasts in off-shore and coastal waters, and in the mountains of Northern New Mexico and Colorado where trout abound. Each is made from ATS-34 stainless steel and have handles made from synthetics highly resistant to salt and fresh water, fish body liquids, and viscera. Dishwasher safe, these strong but simply made filet knives easily remove thick and wide filets or steaks from large, heavy Grouper, Dolphin (also called Dorado or Mahi-Mahi), Wahoo, Bluefish, Snook, and Tuna to name a few. Easily re-sharpened when necessary, these knives are standard operating equipment for serious offshore boats operating in the Gulf, from Montauk to Key West, and anywhere on the Pacific.

Smaller models used on inland gamefish such as Bass, Trout, and Walleye, for example, are easy to use and make short work of a mess of fish for the breakfast or dinner campfire frying pan. Each knife is protected by a thermo-formable synthetic sheath that can be cleaned as easily as the knife for which it was made.
